From front-entry approaches to garden paths, we design and install walkways that look like they belong. This project (shown) uses irregular flagstone with warm mineral tones, set in a smooth curve up a slope for a welcoming, natural approach.

Flagstone (irregular or cut): Bluestone/Slate/Tennessee options; dry-laid or mortared joints.
Paver walkways: Herringbone, running bond, or ashlar patterns with border accents.
Steps & landings: Integrated where grades change for safe, comfortable footing.
Edging & borders: Stone, paver, or steel edging to keep lines crisp and beds tidy.
Lighting & drainage: Low-voltage path lights; sleeves and drains planned under the walk.

Base: Excavation + compacted aggregate base sized to soil/traffic.
Bedding: 1″ sand (dry-laid) or reinforced concrete slab (mortared installs).
Joints: Polymeric sand (dry-laid) or mortar joints to match the stone color.
Pitch: 1–2% slope for drainage; transitions blended to surrounding grade.
Details: Geotextile where needed, edge restraint on pavers, clean saw cuts at borders, and a tidy site every day.
